Blue-banded bee keeps tasting passerby's pants
This is the bizarre moment a blue-banded bee kept tasting a passerby's pants.
Ivan Goh encountered the insect persistently hovering around his clothes at the Singapore Botanical Garden on September 29.
Footage shows the bee using its mandibles in an attempt to sting him, but it couldn't penetrate the thick fabric of his trousers.
The filmer said: 'It kept coming at me, but luckily, I wasn't harmed. It eventually flew away on its own.'
Blue-banded bees are solitary creatures and are generally not aggressive. They only sting when they feel threatened.
