A special race unfolded in Russia's St. Petersburg on Saturday, where people ran alongside their pet dogs for a charitable purpose.
The race was divided into groups based on distance and age, and an obstacle course was also scheduled. More than 600 locals took part in the event with their pets.
According to the organizers, the race aims to raise awareness about the issue of homeless animals and to raise funds for animal shelters.
