A worker had his colleagues in fits of laughter by sitting on a sofa while carrying it to the office on his motorcycle.

Footage shows the employee approaching the front of the building where he dropped off the furniture in Kalasin Province, Thailand, on October 2.

He swerved on his way, drawing laughs from colleagues, but managed to bring the heavy three-seater without damage.

The worker also did not fall from the scooter despite carrying the object some 300 metres between two buildings in the estate.

His colleague Chirapapha said: ‘We were decorating a room for a seminar, but there was no sofa. We asked him to take one from the other building, and we only had a motorcycle to use. Somehow he carried it on his motorcycle without fall off'
