Rescue team saves cat stuck at the bottom of well
This is the heartwarming moment a rescue team saved a cat stuck at the bottom of a well.
The black feline was trapped in the 30ft deep well after falling from the roof of a house and hitting the pit in Pacitan Regency, Indonesia, on September 29.
Homeowner Mr Heri heard the loud cries of the furry creature from inside the water-filled hole. Despite attempts to rescue it, they were unsuccessful, prompting him to call the fire department for assistance.
Footage shows the officers tying a rope to a crate and lowering it into the pit, hoping the animal would hop in. However, the cat did not move and continued to meow.
The men then had no choice but to place the rope around the cat's neck and quickly hoist it up to prevent it from suffocating.
They successfully retrieved the soaking-wet feline, which reportedly did not sustain any serious injuries.
