STORYLINE:
The 7th International Conference on Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Adolescents was held on Monday in Tehran, the Iranian capital.
The event was attended by officials from the Iranian government, as well as the representatives of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement and Hezbollah.
The conference also served as a memorial ceremony for late Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who were killed in July and September, respectively.
Speaking at the conference, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf condemned Israel for its "cowardly" assassinations of the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah and other "crimes" against the Palestinian and Lebanese people, blaming the United States for being responsible for and supporting the Israeli "crimes."
