Narrow escape for drivers as falling piledriver blocks busy road
This is the terrifying moment drivers narrowly escaped a falling piledriver that blocked a busy road.
The red pile-driving machine toppled across the motorway, almost smashing into passing vehicles in Xi'an, China, on September 30.
Dashcam footage shows the driller collapsing onto the road and damaging the concrete wall. A white SUV and the filmer managed to brake at the last minute, barely avoiding being crushed.
Pedestrians also narrowly escaped and were forced to climb over the massive metal structure to get through.
No one was reportedly injured in the incident.
A police investigation is underway to determine the cause.
