US, Los Angeles: El Mirage Fire Damages Residence and Destroys Multiple Vehicles and Outhouses

10/08/2024 03:40 pm (GMT-0700) | EL MIRAGE, Calif. – On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at approximately 3:40 p.m., a vegetation fire was reported on the 25000 block of Vancouver Avenue in El Mirage, CA.
Upon arrival, fire personnel with the San Bernardino County Fire Department located a residence with multiple vehicles and outhouses involved in flames and fire exposure to nearby vegetation. Firefighters entered attack mode to prevent nearby structures and other vehicles from being damaged/destroyed.
In the end, approximately one-half acre of vegetation was burned; multiple vehicles, trailers and outhouses were destroyed, along with the primary residence damaged by the fire. The cause is under investigation, and no injuries have been reported.
