Stranded hikers were rescued by helicopter in Montara, California.
Footage captures the Golden Gate Division Air Operations of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) as they set out to rescue two nature explorers trapped in the rugged terrain of San Mateo County on October 7.
They headed to the Alta Vista Trail on Montara Mountain, where they performed a crew member insertion before extracting the hikers.
Following the distress call, the H-30, fully equipped and manned for emergencies, was sent to assist the distressed individuals.
