On October 8, near Chongqing University Town, a food delivery rider got into a conflict with an intoxicated woman while delivering an order, leading to a violent attack by the woman.

Multiple witnesses reported that the woman behaved aggressively, kicking the delivery rider in the head and repeatedly slapping his face. Although a large crowd gathered, the delivery rider did not fight back.

After receiving reports from the public, officers from the Chongqing High-Tech Zone Police Department quickly arrived at the scene. The woman was restrained, and the injured delivery rider was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.

Later that evening, the police department released an official statement on Weibo. The report revealed that the woman, identified as Huang (42), assaulted the delivery rider, Ran (male, 21), after a verbal altercation while intoxicated. Huang has been taken into police custody, and the case is currently under further investigation.
