Police chase footage shows a car theft suspect attempting to escape.
The Fairfax County Police Department released video of a high-stakes pursuit that ended with the suspect's dramatic arrest in a parking lot on September 19.
Reports said the incident began when Mason Days B squad officers spotted a stolen vehicle. The suspect reversed into three parked cars, blocking his escape.
After abandoning his disabled vehicle, he fled on foot but was quickly apprehended by officers.
The police department praised the effective teamwork of the patrol officers involved.
