US, Los Angeles: Porter Ranch Crash Leaves 2 Dead

10/08/2024 11:15 pm (GMT-0700) | PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES – Two people were killed in a crash late Tuesday night that required extrication efforts from the Los Angeles Fire Department. The incident was reported at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Tampa Avenue near Chatsworth Street.
Emergency responders from LAFD and officers from the LAPD Devonshire Division were dispatched to the scene. Two patients, an approximately 50-year-old male and a 58-year-old male, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LAFD.  An approximately 20-year-old male patient from the second vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no additional information has been confirmed at this time.
