US: Coast Guard Saves Four and Dog After Plane Crash

In a harrowing incident on October 8, 2024, the U.S. Coast Guard, alongside local fire rescue teams and a brave Good Samaritan, executed a life-saving operation following a plane crash just off Albert Whitted Airport.
The aircraft, which met a watery fate, carried four passengers and a canine companion. The heart-stopping moments after the crash saw these individuals stranded in the water, their fate hanging in the balance.
Swift action by a Coast Guard Air Station Miami aircrew, in coordination with St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, led to the rescue of all aboard. The dramatic sequence of events was aided by an unnamed Good Samaritan who, without hesitation, joined the rescue efforts, pulling the survivors from the unforgiving waters.
