Firemen rescued a stray dog stuck in a gate in Thailand.

Footage shows rescue officers cutting the metal bars to free the brown pooch lodged in the narrow gap in Khon Kaen province on September 3.

Resident Patchara Sanguanngoen said: 'While I was exercising in front of our house in the evening, I heard the dog crying. I went to look and saw it was stuck in our neighbour's gate. We tried to free it but it wouldn't budge at all.

'It's a stray dog that often visits us for food. On that day, it was probably still hungry so it went over to my neighbour's house and tried to go in the yard.

'After it was freed, the dog must have been exhausted. Its legs were trembling so we carried it back home to rest.'
