In a development that has heightened tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, combat teams from the Golan Brigade, under the command of Division 36, have been engaging in fierce firefights in southern Lebanon over the past days.

The brigade's forces have been embroiled in battles against Hezbollah militants, uncovering a plethora of combat equipment, underground infrastructures, and living quarters used by the fighters. One of the most significant finds during these operations was a tunnel network utilized by Hezbollah militants, who had reportedly vacated the area just before the Israeli forces moved in. This discovery led to the subsequent demolition of the underground passage as part of ongoing military actions in the region.

"Here in southern Lebanon, we're dismantling Hezbollah's infrastructure that poses a threat to Israeli settlements along the border," said Colonel David, commander of the Golan Reconnaissance Unit, in a statement recorded during the night. "Tonight, we found a route, and it's going to be destroyed in the coming hours. We will continue to do everything we can to undermine Hezbollah's capabilities, to push them out of the area, to destroy them, and to bring the residents back home."

The operation underscores the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) aiming to neutralize threats emanating from Lebanon.
