Rome, Italy - October 08, 2024

One of the largest Baroque fountains in Rome, the Trevi Fountain, will undergo changes so that tourists can see it more closely, and at the same time the number of people present at the site will be regulated. This will be achieved through the installation of a walkway that will cross the monument.
The installation seeks to provide "a unique way of seeing the monument from closer up and also to test the method of containing tourists experimentally, since a maximum number of people will be established." This was the explanation of the mayor of the Italian capital, Roberto Gualtieri, where he illustrated the project.
