Amusing footage of a dog appearing to stop a store owner from leaving her shop.

The video, filmed in Dej, Romania yesterday, shows the dog begging for food and blocking the door to the shop in the process.

The filmer later wrote online: "The dog was sitting in front of the entrance door, and for a few hours the seller was unable to get out and the customers to go in.

"The people couldn't convince the dog to go away from the door with food."

"They tried to throw rocks at him but that didn't work either," he continued.

"Finally, after a few hours the police officers managed to convince the dog to leave and they took him to his owners."
