Aloof giraffe calmly watches zookeeper slave away
This is the amusing moment an aloof giraffe calmly watched a zookeeper who was hard at work.
Yuhi, the three-year-old giraffe, was spotted intensely gazing at the worker, Ayumi Sera, as he cleaned the animal's enclosure in Fukuyama, Japan, on September 5.
Footage shows the employee raking hay on the ground while Yuhi munched on his favourite Zelkova leaves, peering at her from outside.
The zookeeper jokingly said: 'I feel like my mother-in-law is watching me.'
Giraffes are known to be curious animals, often observing things that are out of the ordinary.
