The remarkable video shows a sharp-tailed grouse stomping his feet and fluttering his wings while performing his mating ritual.

Footage recorded by USFWS at Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge in Montana State USA, depicted the bird pounding his feet and rattling his tail feathers while spinning in circles on 11th October.

He can further be seen producing sounds during the dance, which result from the grouse stomping his feet up to 20 times per second, accompanied by a distinctive cooing call, all aimed at winning courtship rights.
