US, Los Angeles: Lancaster Man Stabbed in Face at Antelope Valley Transit Authority Station

10/11/2024 08:38 am (GMT-0700) | LANCASTER, Calif. – At approximately 8:38 a.m., deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to 10th Street West and Avenue K-8 in the city of Lancaster for a man with a knife.
While en route, the call was upgraded to an assault taking place. Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered a man with a knife wound to the face. Information at the scene stated that an assault took place inside the bus. However, that has not yet been confirmed.
The suspect has only been described as an older man with a cane who fled westbound on a bridge and out of view. The victim was transported to the hospital while the suspect remains at large.
