US: Police Patrol Reveals Devastation Post-Hurricane Milton

In a scene reminiscent of a war zone, Sarasota Police have released video footage from their tour of St. Armands and Lido Keys, showing the catastrophic aftermath of Hurricane Milton. The video captures the extent of the flooding, with streets, shops, and homes submerged, fallen trees, and debris strewn across what were once vibrant tourist spots.
The footage, taken during a midday patrol on Thursday, paints a grim picture of the islands' condition. Despite the devastation, Sarasota Police emphasize a silver lining: "Our priority is the preservation of life, and after a severe weather event like Milton, our officers are quick to respond." Fortunately, this time, the necessity for water rescues was absent, thanks to residents following evacuation orders diligently.
