Cheeky girl grabs food while saying grace
An amusing toddler sneaked bites of her favourite food while saying grace before dinner with family.
Two-year-old Kesha had her palms pressed together, saying grace, but could not resist grabbing slices of roast pig lechon in South Cotabato, the Philippines, on July 23.
Footage shows Kesha taking a piece of meat and quickly stuffing it into her mouth while her relatives pray.
She then pretended to pray with food hidden between her palms, drawing laughter from her family.
Relative Maryville Nadar said: 'Kesha likes lechon so much, and the prayer lasted longer than usual. She was tempted to take a few bites.'
In Filipino culture, praying before meals is a common practice rooted in the country's strong Christian faith, particularly Roman Catholicism. The prayer expresses gratitude for the food and blessings received and asks for God's grace and protection.
