The NBA is finally back and there’s some bad blood even in the preseason.
Divincenzo was barking towards Rick Brunson, Jalen’s father for having an impact in the Knicks decision making.
Donte was visibly upset with him and they even had to be separated after the game.
In one of the most intense pre-season games in recent history, it was almost like teams were playing hard to prove that their side won the trade.
Anthony Edwards was in lockdown mode as if it’s a playoff game. And it was a similar story on the offensive end as well.
31 points on 8 for 13 from downtown, a blistering 61.5%, this is going to be a scary season for ANT.
Thing is, my Knicks are also scary this season:
KAT was aggressive with 16 points and 16 rebounds, showing the Timberwolves what they got rid of.
Brunson, Bridges and Anunoby all had a solid night as well, to ultimately help New York win this battle that I’m sure will be heated during the season with both teams now being contenders for the championship ring.
If there was some intensity in New York, it was comedy in Denver, with Russell Westbrook timing Jokic’s pre-game sprint.
The vibes translated from the locker room to the court in this one, with these 2 connecting for a monster finish.
Jokic had a casual 21, 14 and 9, a near triple double in a preseason game. And he dropped Plumlee on this one.
Thing is, he almost touched the ground as well, on this shake and bake by Ryan Dunn.
Dunn, who was the 28th pick in the draft, was the real star in this game with 20 points on 5 of 11 from downtown.
The Suns are very excited about this rookie who was also spectacular on the defensive end as well.
His great performance culminated with this three to ice the game.
Now, speaking of culmination, check this out…
Maaan do I wish that he stays healthy this season, because this is absolutely crazy
Funny thing tho, it was Spoelstra who went a little crazy at the end of this close game.
So In a game where the stars on both sides played small minutes, Miami pulls away with the win with some free throws at the end.
The star did not suit up for the Warriors either but he was there to give some pointers to Buddy Hield.
If you’re a Warriors fan, What a sight this is to have an almost decade long knockdown shooter get extra advice from the greatest of all time in this category.
And Buddy has been looking great in this preseason run, shooting 59% from the three point line in 4 games so far.
The team chemistry seems awesome, and that’s a welcome change after the last few years of turmoil. Golden State fans are hoping for a good season and some reasons to get the arena rocking. Whatever they do however, they’ll be nowhere near what Europeans fans are doing in the Euroleague. I made a video about the most hostile fans in the Euroleague compared to the NBA and you gotta check out this video right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
