STORYLINE:
Australia's 37th Floriade Festival concluded with a "Dogs' Day Out" event on Sunday. The festival is held annually in the capital of Canberra to welcome the coming of spring.
The Canberra Flower Show was launched in 1988 and has since grown into Floriade, Australia's premier spring celebration and one of the largest flower exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere.
With a range of dog-specific retail vendors and dog-friendly programming on stage and around the park, Floriade opened its gates on Sunday to furry friends.
This year's event opened at Canberra's Commonwealth Park on Sept. 14, inviting visitors to explore over 1 million flowers as well as entertainment, cultural celebrations and workshops.
