This is the moment when a cherry-red Lada hits a courier on a moped at full speed but he survives.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Dzerzhinsky Street and Lenin Avenue in Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, Russia, on 11th October.

Surveillance camera footage shows the courier on a moped waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

The green light shows for the right lane next to the courier and the bus starts moving, while the courier still waits for the green light for his line.

At that moment, a cherry-red Lada crashes into the moped from behind at full speed sending the courier flying to the side with his delivery bag.

After the collision, the courier falls onto the asphalt, the moped flies off to the side, and the Lada leaves the scene.

The courier can be seen leaving his delivery bag, limping to the sidewalk and sitting down as pedestrians run up to check him.

A traffic police car and an ambulance arrived at the scene later.
It is reported that the courier was 28 years old and needed one-time medical assistance.

The police are looking for the driver of the Lada.
