Palestine: Elite Forces Neutralize Terror Threats
Jenin, Palestine - October 14, 2024
In a high-stakes operation last night, Israel's elite Duvdevan and Haruv units, alongside the Border Police and guided by the Shin Bet, executed a series of coordinated actions in Jenin aimed at thwarting terrorist activities.
The operation, which unfolded with military precision, saw the Duvdevan unit conducting a 'pressure cooker' maneuver on a building where wanted terrorists, actively firing at Israeli forces, were holed up. Following an intense exchange of gunfire, the unit successfully eliminated an armed terrorist and apprehended three suspects involved in terror activities.
Simultaneously, Haruv unit operatives were active in the Jenin area, engaging in close-quarters combat where they neutralized a terrorist from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in Kabatiya. This operation was part of a broader nighttime sweep by IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces across the Central Command, resulting in the arrest of 20 wanted individuals.
In additional raids in the Bik'at HaYarden region, Samson Battalion troops uncovered an array of combat equipment including rifles, vests, ammunition, and weapon parts. Further operations in Beit Yahud and Ofra in Samaria by the Gafan and 7016 Battalions led to the discovery of more rifles.
