Brick wall collapses during scuffles at wedding in China
On October 5, in Taiyuan, Shanxi, the groom arrived at the bride's home with his group to pick her up. Following local customs, the bride's family requested the groom to give out enough red envelopes before being allowed in.
However, during the pushing and shoving at the entrance, the brick wall supporting the iron gate suddenly collapsed. Everyone scrambled to avoid it, and fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The incident did not affect the wedding proceedings.
