Local rescuers rescued cow after suffering neck wound in central India
In a distressing incident near a medical college in central India's Madhya Pradesh, a cow was found with a rope tied so tightly around its neck that it severely cut into the animal's skin.
The incident took place in Shahdol district on October 15.
Visuals showed the wounded cow standing in an open field, with dried and fresh blood visible on its neck. The cow was in apparent pain as cow protectors carefully removed the rope and tended to its large, oozing wound. They were seen cleaning the injury and administering necessary medications to the suffering animal.
According to reports, the rescue operation, led by Mr. Gaurav Rahli Mishra from Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan, lasted from 2:55 to 4:13 PM. After the cow received initial treatment, it was safely relocated to an institution for further care with the assistance of local cow protectors Prakash Sen and Ajay Sondhiya.
