This is the adorable moment a real-life Kung Fu panda cub playfully challenges her mother in a lively play-fight.

Footage shows the young panda joyfully sparring with her mother on October 13 at Russia's Moscow Zoo.

While the mother allows her cub to engage in most of her antics, she doesn't hesitate to pin her down like a sumo wrestler, showing the cheeky tot who is boss.

Svetlana Akulova, General Director of Moscow Zoo, said: 'Katyusha's kung fu versus mum's sumo [wrestling]!'

The 14-month-old baby panda, Katyusha, was having a good time with her mum, Ding Ding, in their enclosure.

Katyusha, the first giant panda cub born in Russia, has become the star of new online access to the zoo's cameras.
