US, Los Angeles: Bellflower Possibly 2 Dead 1 Shot in Apparent Murder Suicide

10/15/2024 11:30 pm (GMT-0700) | BELLFLOWER, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a possible murder-suicide following a late-night shooting at an apartment complex in Bellflower.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and fire department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Artesia Boulevard.
Upon arrival, deputies reported encountering additional shots being fired. They quickly retreated and established a crime scene perimeter.
One individual was transported from the scene, while preliminary reports indicate that a person inside the residence was found dead, and the suspect appears to have shot himself. It is unclear if any deputies fired their weapons.
The investigation remains ongoing, and further details have not yet been released.
