This large bear was captured on wildlife cameras rolling on the grass and scratching its back against a tree to mark its new territory after it was cleared of fallen trees and debris by reserve workers following a storm.

The scene was recorded in the Tunguska Nature Reserve, Russia.
It shows the bear, which appears to be a brown bear, strolling along the forest when it suddenly lies down flat on its belly and rubs its entire body against the grass.

Then, it walks towards a nearby tree and stands upright on its hind legs, then scratches its back against its trunk and later gets back down on all fours and walks off.
