Portugal: Spectacular Taurid Meteor Blazes Across the Sky Over Portugal and Spain

On October 15th at 21:03:41 TUC (23:03 CET), the night sky over Baixo Alentejo, Portugal, was illuminated by a spectacular Taurid meteor, named SPMN151024F, an event captured with breathtaking clarity. Despite recent adverse weather conditions, the skies cleared just enough for this cosmic spectacle to be witnessed across Andalusia and Extremadura.
This brilliant meteor, which turned the night into day for a fleeting moment, was also spotted from Benamaurel, Granada. Despite being approximately 500 kilometers away from the meteor's trajectory and under partial cloud cover, Gomez managed to capture the event, showcasing its remarkable visibility and the power of modern astronomy equipment.
