Guard dogs surrounded a wild boar stuck in a fish pond in Indonesia.

The canines saw the animal submerged up to its chest in the water and crowded around it to keep it from fleeing in East Kalimantan province on October 16.

Footage shows the pack of pooches barking furiously at the boar that did not move an inch from its spot in the water.

Their owner was shouting for them to stop as the wild boar threatened to lunge at them and they backed away.

The wild boar later climbed out of the muddy pond and fled back to the forest unhurt.
