On October 11, 2024, in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province in eastern China, a unique sight was recorded on a quiet, sunlit street. A peculiar white vehicle with an extremely low chassis cruised along, its wheels barely visible.
The single-seater car was driven by a man in a white short-sleeved shirt and glasses, snugly fitting into the compact cockpit, which featured a small windshield for protection.
The vehicle bore the logo of Shandong Jiaotong University and the slogan “Solar Car – New Journey No. 2,” showcasing an innovative solar-powered design.
