US, Los Angeles: Angeles Crest Foggy Roadways Cause Multiple Traffic Collisions One With Fire
Los Angeles, United States - October 16, 2024
10/16/2024 09:30 pm (GMT-0700) | ANGELES CREST, ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a reported traffic collision on Angeles Crest Highway. The initial collision, occurring near mile marker 29, involved a vehicle fire. One patient was transported to a medical facility for further evaluation and treatment.
Subsequently, a second traffic collision was reported at mile marker 32. In response, the fire department requested an additional ambulance to assist at this location.
Visibility in the affected area is approximately 100 feet, contributing to hazardous driving conditions.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating all incidents related to this event.
