In a dramatic escalation, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the discovery of a substantial weapons cache within a school in Jabaliya, a densely populated area in the northern Gaza Strip. This revelation comes as part of an intense operation led by the 1-91st Cavalry Regiment, known for its airborne capabilities, in conjunction with the 401st Brigade under the 162nd Division.

The operation, shrouded in the cover of night, aimed to dismantle terror infrastructures and neutralize threats posed by armed groups in the region. According to IDF statements, the area was a hotspot for terrorist activities, with dozens of combatants eliminated through precise airstrikes and ground engagements. The military action was part of a broader strategic move to undermine the operational capabilities of adversaries within Gaza.

The school, located in a civilian zone, was not spared from the conflict's harsh realities. Here, amidst classrooms where the echoes of learning once resounded, soldiers uncovered an alarming array of military hardware. This included "dozens of weapons, explosives, ammunition, explosive bricks, and mortars," underscoring the depth to which civilian spaces have been exploited for military purposes.

Perhaps the most chilling discovery was in one of the classrooms, where a chalkboard displayed Arabic writings glorifying the violence that occurred on October 7th. This find not only highlights the tactical use of educational institutions by terrorist factions but also the ideological indoctrination taking place.
