10/16/2024 11:45 pm (GMT-0700) | LA PUENTE, Calif. – Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies from the Industry station, along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, responded to a gunshot victim inside a house in the 900 block of Fickewirth Avenue in the city of La Puente. One victim was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital. Sheriff’s deputies had the scene taped off and were talking to the resident. At the time of this report, it was unknown if the LASD had a suspect or suspects in custody or if anyone was still outstanding.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators responded to a shooting death investigation on the 900 block Fickewirth
Avenue in the city of La Puente. The incident was reported on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at approximately 11:43 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
