This is the moment a bear family strolled in front of shops in Tibet.

Three large Tibetan bears were spotted wandering through the residential area in the middle of the night in Nagqu on June 30.

Footage shows a man flashing lights at the animals. They briefly looked back but they ran away upon seeing the local resident, seemingly avoiding him.

In September, three bears barged into a restaurant, causing panic among the staff. They reportedly left minutes later without harming anyone.

Wildlife officials have since increased patrols and warned residents not to get too close to wild animals emerging from the woodland.

Tibetan bears are generally very shy, but they will attack if they feel threatened. They are found in Tibet, an autonomous region within China that has campaigned for decades to be free from the Communist state.
