Wildlife camera footage captured in Suceava, Suceava County, Romania, depicted the two red stags engaging in a battle during their rutting period on 10th October.

The rut, also known as the breeding season, can start as early as the end of September and can last all the way through the winter months.

Bucks usually begin this process when the velvet is falling off their antlers, and it can last all the way until they start to shed their antlers.

During this period, males may become more territorial and engage in fights with other males to establish dominance and secure mating rights with any females in the area.
