The heavy rainfall, combined with the storm's intensity, overwhelmed drainage systems and led to widespread flooding across the region.
While the water continues to recede, the town faces significant damage, with recovery efforts underway. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported, but the full extent of the destruction is still being assessed.
