Hamas Confirm the Assassination of Yahya Sinwar
October 18, 2024
Khalil Al-Hayya - Member of the Political Bureau of Hamas Movement:
With all meanings of pride, dignity, honor and dignity, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns to our Palestinian people, to our entire nation and to the free people of the world, one of the noblest and bravest men, a man who dedicated his life for Palestine, and sacrificed his soul for the sake of God on the path to its liberation.
God was truthful, so God was truthful to him, and chose him as a martyr along with his martyred brothers who preceded him: **We mourn the great national leader, the martyred brother, Mujahid Yahya Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim)**; Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and commander of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa, who ascended as a heroic martyr, advancing and not retreating, brandishing his weapon, engaging and confronting the occupation army at the forefront of the ranks, moving between all the combat positions, steadfast and firm on the land of the proud Gaza, defending the land of Palestine and its holy sites, and inspiring in kindling the spirit of steadfastness, patience, steadfastness and resistance.
The sons of our great people, our Arab and Islamic nation, the free people of the world. The martyr leader Yahya Sinwar lived as a mujahid and made his way in the Hamas movement since he was a young man involved in its jihadist activities, then during the 23 years of captivity, he defeated the Zionist jailer. After he was released from prison in the Wafa al-Ahrar deal, he continued his giving, planning and jihad until his eyes were filled with joy on October 7, 2023, the day of the great flood that shook the depths of the entity and exposed the fragility of its alleged security and what followed of epics of legendary steadfastness of our people and the heroism of our victorious resistance, until he attained the most honorable position and the highest medal and ascended to be with his Lord as a martyred witness satisfied with what he had offered in jihad and giving. The martyr leader Yahya Sinwar was a continuation of the caravan of great martyr leaders following in the footsteps of the martyr founder Sheikh Mujahid Ahmed Yassin, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Rantisi, Al-Muqaddamah, Abu Shanab, Jamal Mansour, Jamal Salim, the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh and his deputy Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri and the caravan of martyrs from all the leaders and sons of our people and nation. We affirm that this blood will continue to light the way for us and constitute an incentive for more steadfastness and perseverance, and that the Hamas movement is continuing with the covenant of the founding leaders and martyrs until the aspirations of our people are achieved for comprehensive liberation, return and the establishment of the Palestinian state on the entire Palestinian national soil with Jerusalem as its capital, God willing, and it will turn into a curse on the invading occupiers who invade this land. The sons of our great people, our Arab and Islamic nation, the free people of the world. The martyrdom of our brother leader Yahya Sinwar and all the leaders and symbols of the movement who preceded him on the path of honor, martyrdom, and the project of liberation and return,
will only increase the strength, steadfastness, and determination of the Hamas movement and our resistance to continue on their path and be loyal to their blood and sacrifices. A movement that offers its leaders and sons as martyrs on the path of defending the rights of its people is a noble and authentic movement, rooted in its people. Our Palestinian people, our Arab and Islamic nation, the free people of the world. We say to those who mourn the prisoners of the occupation held by the resistance that these prisoners will not return except by stopping the aggression on Gaza and withdrawing from it and releasing our heroic prisoners from the prisons of the occupation.
We are continuing on the path of Hamas and the spirit of the flood of Al-Aqsa will remain burning with life in the souls of our people. We are committed to your covenant, Abu Ibrahim, and your banner will not fall, but will remain fluttering high. Peace be upon you, Abu Ibrahim, the ascetic, devout and pious man. Peace be upon you as a prisoner, peace be upon you as a fighter, peace be upon you as a martyr. Peace be upon you as history will record that you wrote the first line in the war of liberation and the end of the occupation. May God have mercy on you and grant you the highest paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous.
