A food stall caught fire when a gas cylinder exploded in India.

The booth of a Jalebi Samosa vendor was engulfed in flames at a busy market area in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, on October 18.

Footage shows men using a fire extinguisher to douse the blaze, causing the flames to dissipate.

No one was reported injured in the incident.

Data from the Accidental Deaths and Suicides in India (ADSI) suggest that, on average, 35 fire-related deaths occurred daily. The report said the primary causes of fire-related fatalities to electrical faults, human negligence, and poor safety habits.
