This is the terrifying moment a huge python was found in a car in Thailand.

Mechanics discovered the 15ft snake (4.5 metres) inside the grey vehicle at Nik Remap automobile repair shop in Samut Prakan on October 5.

Footage shows an animal rescue team carefully removing the stuck snake from the engine compartment.

After several minutes of tugging, they successfully extracted the predator and reportedly released it back into the wild, away from residential areas.

Pythons are nonvenomous constrictors that prey on rodents, birds, lizards, and mammals. They lack venomous fangs and consume their prey whole by swallowing them.
