Gaza Strip: IDF troops continue operational activity in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip

Yesterday (Friday), the IAF eliminated the terrorist Naser Abed al-Aziz Rashid, the deputy commander of the Bint Jbeil area of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
He had advanced and carried out terrorist activities against Israeli civilians from the Bint Jbeil area.

IDF troops continue limited, localized, and targeted raids against Hezbollah terrorists and infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
The troops located and dismantled numerous weapons during operational activity in the area, including a cluster of rocket launchers, a "Kornet" anti-tank missile launcher that was ready to fire toward communities in northern Israel, rockets, and additional military equipment.

Yesterday (Friday), Hezbollah terrorists fired projectiles toward IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported. An IAF aircraft rapidly struck and dismantled the launcher that had fired the projectiles.

Furthermore, over the past day, the IAF struck and dismantled numerous Hezbollah weapons storage facilities and launchers aimed toward Israeli territory. This includes some launchers from which rockets have been fired toward communities in northern Israel over the past day.

Simultaneously, in the Gaza Strip, IDF troops eliminated two terrorist cells that posed a threat to the troops in the Rafah area, eliminating armed terrorists during the exchanges of fire.
In the Jabaliya area, IDF troops eliminated several terrorists in close-quarters encounters and IAF strikes.
In the central Gaza Strip, the troops directed IAF strikes and dismantled terrorist structures used by Hamas to execute sniper fire and plant explosives.
