US, Los Angeles: Apple Valley 1 Airlifted After Single Vehicle Rollover Crash
Los Angeles, United States - October 20, 2024
10/20/2024 05:18 pm (GMT-0700) | APPLE VALLEY, Calif. – On Sunday, October 20, 2024, at approximately 5:18 p.m., a traffic collision requiring extrication was reported at the intersection of Guajome Road and Joshua Road in the town of Apple Valley.
Upon arrival, rescue personnel with the AVFD located a single vehicle overturned with major damage and two occupants inside. One occupant was critically injured and was transported via air ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The second occupant suffered minor injuries and was transported via ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
According to a witness statement off camera, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Joshua Road when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and crashed.
The collision is under investigation by the Apple Valley Police Department.
