Dog guides lost tourist to safety on mountain in China
This is the heartwarming moment a lost climber was guided to safety by a dog on a mountain in China.
The tourist was visiting Yubeng Waterfall when he could no longer find the way to a waterfall attraction in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, on October 11.
Footage shows the white pooch walking up the stairs, surrounded by colourful bandannas, leading the way to his destination.
The hiker said: 'I was lost for a minute when the dog appeared, so I followed it. I feel relieved. He knew where I wanted to go and he took me there.
Scientists suggest that dogs can be as smart as a two-year-old child.
Yubeng Waterfall is a famous scenic spot with beautiful mountain views and waterfalls. It is also called the 'Sacred Waterfall' because the water pours onto a large, dangling stone caused by melting snow.
