This is the shocking moment a billboard facade was blown off during a storm and landed on a car.

Dashcam footage shows a large tarpaulin detaching from the frame when a gust hit, and slow traffic built up below in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

The signage hung for a second, but the wind threw it onto vehicles, crashing into a car stopped in the right lane.

Driver Sorawit Khattiya, who was in the left lane, said: 'I was approaching the spot where the tarp fell, so I recorded it on my dashboard camera.

'Road users need to be more careful outside. No matter how alert we are, there will always be unexpected things that can happen.'
