The Dashixia Water Control Project is being constructed in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Construction began in Nov. 2019, and the highest dam here will reach 247 meters.
China Gezhouba Group Co. Ltd. (CGGC) has undertaken the construction of the water control project at the upper reaches of the Aksu River in Xinjiang, which is expected to be the world's highest dam once completed.
