Security guards pried open a metal wall near the elevator to save a trapped stray cat.

The employees were called by office workers to help when they heard the feline crying behind the structure in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 11.

Footage shows the workers using a flashlight to locate the moggy and removing portions of the wall to make space.

One of them poked his head through the gap and later emerged with the feline on the stick.

Onlooker Kanyapat who worked at the building said the cat had wandered in from outside. One of her colleagues has now adopted the anima.

Kanyapat said: ‘We were grateful to the security guard for helping the cat. They were so kind. The cay needed some food and water.'
