"I think the medical advancements and technological advancements, specifically the medical sector of China, have been quite groundbreaking in terms of all the new equipment that's being used even in public hospitals. In China, I have seen people using equipment, like doctors, using equipment, health care professionals that are quite trained in it, using equipment that is sophisticated, but even on people who perhaps are not that well-off. So it's quite amazing to see that. I think China has made really great advancements in terms of medical equipment, technology as well as new treatment strategies. I'm currently working on a few research papers with a couple of Chinese doctors over here. And from my research as well I have seen that it's quite amazing like the technological advancements of China have been quite amazing."
Mishra said she enjoys her life in the Chinese city.

"As for my life over here, it's quite comfortable. I love living here. I think it's a place that makes me feel quite at home, really, even though I'm not technically at home, but I feel a sense of belonging to Xiamen and to China. I would say that perhaps sometime in the future, I want to come back to both India and China, I think because I belong to, essentially, both of these countries. I have spent quite a long time in both of these countries now. And I think one thing is that both of these countries have given me quite a lot. They have taught me quite a lot. And I want to pay back to both of these countries."
