Amazing and unique find in the WW2 Italian radio communication building.

I took the footage with a GoPro. It’s of the Italian Navy main radio communication complex on the island of Leros. Leros was the main headquarters for the Regina Marina (Italian Navy) from 1913 - 43. In 1943 the Italians capitulated and the British military reinforced the island but due to overwhelming air superiority by the Germans the island was invaded by sea and airborne forces and by the Germans defeated the British and Italian forces in November 1943. This was the last major defeat by British forces during WW2. The building is derelict but still has the radio masts and the remains of a Nazi swastika in one of the rooms. Amazing that this has survived over 80 years but sad that this unique building is left to decay
